mine is a bean burrito recipe.

in pan, heat 1/2 cup beans (canned kidney, i usually use) with 1/4 cup water. Add/mix in 1 tbs curry powder, 1/2 tbs of chili powder (or however spicy you want it) and 1/2 tbsp, to 1 tbs cumin ( the spices are to your taste, i usually just sprinkle it in, it's really fool-proof) . STir to dissolve spices into water and coat the beans. continue stirring as water evaporates and turns into spice sauce that coats beans. meanwhile, microwave/heat up whole wheat tortilla. Remove beans from heat and pour/scrape into tortilla. wrap up, microwave for 30 seconds, and eat!

So, my favorite recipe is a sit-fry my mom always makes!

In a wok, add a bit (a couple tablespoons, or as desired) of sesame oil and chopped shallots and garlic. Add sliced beef (we use a pre-sliced beef meant to be used for stir-fry that we just ask the meat man at the grocery store for), and cook until mostly done. Add chopped asparagus, broccoli, and red bell peppers (and perhaps more oil), and cook for about 5 minutes, mixing the wok contents every couple of minutes. Finally, add in a schezwan sauce of your choice (you can make this from scratch if you want), and serve it up with some brown rice!
