Nature Walk

January 29, 2010

Do you ever take a million pictures of random, but beautiful things? Here are a few of my favorite nature shots I’ve taken on different adventures in and around my college town. Most of the photos were taken at Devil’s Millhopper and Manatee Springs which is located near Chiefland, Florida. Enjoy this non-food post! :)

To make your pictures pop like some of the shots above,  adjust the brightness and mid-tone settings on your photo editing software when you upload your pictures on to the computer.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful pictures, Shannon! You captured this scenes in a way that the secondary viewer (i.e., your readers and not yourself) can “see” what you saw in real life. Thanks!

I love these pictures. And yes, I wil do this too. My husband is into photography and so he will take more pictures than me. He also uses the Holga (check it out if you have never heard of lomography) to get neat looking shots of nature and things.

I am SO jealous that you work @ a B&J scoop shop. I wrote an entire paper about them. It’s such a terrific company. And free ice cream – lucky!
