Wrap Attack

Hi friends! First off, thank you for all of your amazing comments on my Nature Walk pictures. Checkout the bottom of the post for an update on how you can make your pictures pop too!

Last week, I had a severe “wrap attack” and went through an entire package of La Tortilla Factory Smart & Delicious Tortilla Wraps. Their tortillas are incredibly yummy and versatile! In the past, I’ve tried other tortilla brands, but sadly they always seemed to fall apart. The La Tortilla Factory’s Smart & Delicious Tortilla line are amazing because the wrap actually stays together when you match up the two sides. You should definitely give them a whirl if you haven’t already. Here a few of my favorite ways to eat these tortillas.

Breakfast:

Breakfast Burrito with scrambled eggs, sausage, melted cheese, and salsa

After my breakfast burrito, I went into the library basement to read an interesting case of the Cola Wars: Coke vs. Pepsi. A Starbucks Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte really helped me focus. I’ve never had this flavor before, but I would definitely buy it again. If you like sweet coffee drinks, you will love it! I think it tastes better as a hot drink rather than an iced one though.

Fun Fact: A long time ago, the CEO of Coca-Cola had the opportunity to purchase Pepsi, but he didn’t think it was that great of investment at the time.

Lunch on the Go:

Turkey Wrap with Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, and Mustard

Dinner:

Chicken Fajita with onions, green pepper, black beans, melted cheese, lettuce, and salsa

To make the chicken fajita extra crispy, I put in the George Foreman for about 3 minutes. It was sooo good! What’s your favorite meal idea for tortilla wraps?

Wraps are my favourite food! So versatile…your dinner one looks especially awesome. Hmm, my favourites would be:
    - turkey, laughing cow cheese, spinach, cranberry sauce
    - kidney beans, salsa, shredded cheese
    - felafel, laughing cow cheese, spinach and ketchup
    - hummus and cheese

I roll them ALL up and grill them on my George Foreman :D

ah, La Tortilla Factory used to be my FAVORITE wraps ever but I haven’t been able to find them in months :( such a tragedy! My favorite wrap combo is turkey, laughing cow, and apples.. panini’d.. sheer perfection! Or a PB and banana wrap, naturally

Definitely NUTELLA and banana wraps. I recently turned my love of nutella into a cookie recipe, so I am obviously addicted to the stuff. Seriously, though, it’s great in a wrap, especially if you heat it up in a pan to make it melt-y and delicious.

Yummmy, a dessert wrap with chocolate! Nutella cookies! Hope the recipes are on your web site. My daughter and I have been “discussing” the pronunciation of Nutella: is it NUTella or NU(new)tella?

I’m so obsessed with wraps! Veggies are always a must… added with raw tofu, raw tempeh, avocado, or cheese. YUM!

I love breakfast tortillas. Ryan and I are looking over a Mexican cookbook we bought and trying to decide what to make in the upcoming weeks for our from scratch weekends.

Grilled quesadilla style–with a veggie burger, some hummus and salsa smashed together!!! Omg, it is my favorite.

Wraps are good for so many things–pizza crust or just to be filled with sweet or savory goodness! I’d have to say my current fav is my creamy chicken enchiladas–the post will be up soon! I hope your semester is going well dear, I miss chatting with you :-)
