Just found your blog….I lived in Florida last year for 7 months, and I miss it immensely! Thanks for the above list… brought back some great memories! My husband and I are hoping to live there during the winter at some point, probably not for a few years, though…will still be visiting often since we have friends who live there… keep up the great work!
Hi Carolyn!
Thank you so much for the sweet comment– I was hoping these links would be useful!
Florida is a great place.. I’d love to keep in touch!
Okay, you know what is really weird…. That comment above is from “Carolyn.” That is my name. When you click the name it took me to my facebook page. However, I didn’t write that comment. That is strange. Really strange.
By the way… love the list. I’ve lived in Florida for almost 4 years now so I love to get insider scoop on things to do. I was living in Sarasota and just moved to Tampa, so I’ve been having fun exploring around here.
I saw your post on Hulk Hogan’s house… would you mind sharing the addy? You can email me eatlivebewell at gmail dot com. YAY! I love house (er, mansion) stalking!
Hey! This is a little random but I am a brand new blogger and a lover of many food blogs for a while! I just came across yours the other day and I think it’s great! Really weird thing that made me so happy, I LOVE the suncoast seabird sanctuary! I am from Ohio but my Dad grew up in Tampa and a lot of my family is down there. I spent a good chunk of my childhood in Indian Shores where we have a condo that the balcony of look right at the sanctuary!! Awesome blog and list, thanks!!
Caitlin
Just found your blog and I am hooked… you had me at “Running stadiums in the swamp on weekdays”. I live in DC but went to UF and it is my life! Go gators and good luck in the NYCM tomorrow!!
thank you so much, Carrie! Go Gators!
Seconded! I grew up in Jacksonville and went to UF and I used to LOOOOVE running in The Swamp. Yay for Gator runners!
So glad you found my blog! Go Gators!
I just found your blog too! Beaches? Florida? I’m hooked. I lived in FL for a while and interned w/ govt. down there to work on (among other things) environmental issues so to say that I am a fan of your park and beach posts is an understatement. Go beach bums
Yay!!!
Us beach bums have to stick together.
Thank you so much for reading, Lea!
