I think what they were really referring to was the city in the summertime.

5 million degrees, creaky air conditioner unit, humid 300 sq ft apartment, attempting to sleep/sticking to the futon.

Yup, I think that’s what they really meant.

Yesterday, my training schedule called for an Easy 3 miles.

Sweet! I can do that. I just ran 6 on Saturday.. definitely a piece of cake right?!

Wrong-o.

Omgawd it was the toughest 3 miles I think I’ve ever run. Every second, I kept staring at my iPod to see how much longer I had to go.

A mixture of the insane humidity, hurricane-like wind & this 1 girl I saw running with her hair down reallyyyyy annoyed me (as lame as that is haha).

Who runs with their hair down?!

I don’t get it.

The water fountain at the end of the run definitely saved the day.

With this crazy summer heat, I’ve found a glorious appreciation for skirts,

Hair buns that take approximately .06 milliseconds to throw up,

In other news, I’m pretty sure Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh visited Gainesville today. The weather has been extremely gloomy and rainy all day. I did manage to get a quick thirty minute workout in after class. Let’s just say the elliptical machine showed me who was boss.
